Dr. Alma Gracia Godínez Morales was born in Morelia, Michoacán, on October 9, 1962. In 1985, she graduated as a Dental Surgeon from the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo.
Since 1989 he has been a member of the Mexican Dental ASSOCIATION and in 1992 he founded and presided over the College of Dental Surgeons of San Miguel de Allende, AC. In 2000, he received recognition from the Government of the State of Guanajuato for his work as a Dental Surgeon and union activity in pro collegiate.
Between 2003 and 2005, she was president of the Federation of Colleges of Dental Surgeons of Guanajuato, AC. Since 2002 she has been certified by the ADM Certification Council and has been recognized on three occasions by the Government of the State of Guanajuato as a distinguished professional for professional career, in 2002, 2005 and 2010.
In 2005, he received the 2005 Distinguished Professional Recognition from the Secretariat of Public Education of the Government of the State of Guanajuato and in the period 2007-2009, he served as Head of the ADM Professional Social Service Commission.
During the years 2007-2009 she was Advisor to the ADM Certification Council and in 2008, she co-created the ADM preschool oral health program, as well as co-author of the National research work on “Epidemiology of dental caries and risk factors.” risk associated with primary dentition in preschoolers.
From 2012 to 2014 he served as President of the National Council of the ADM, in 2016 he was Executive President of the Mexican Dental Association National Federation of Colleges of Dental Surgeons AC
Dr. Godínez Morales has dedicated her practice since 1985 to the study, research and monitoring of dental fluorosis in her place of residence and in endemic areas of Mexico. He is currently in charge of the education and surveillance commission in professional practice in the Latin American Dental Federation (FOLA).
She is a lecturer on dental fluorosis in Mexico, she is also a Fellow of the International College of Dentists since 2007 and a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy 2012, and in 2014 a Fellow of the SDL 9 Harvard program. He is currently World Councilor of the International Dental Federation FDI.
Dr. Godínez Morales dedicates her practice to general dentistry with emphasis on prevention and maintenance of oral health and continuous improvement.

PRESENTATION: Oral health and comprehensive health

This presentation will explore the relationship between oral health and comprehensive health, highlighting how the mouth is the gateway to many chronic degenerative diseases. The importance of addressing oral health will be discussed as a key factor in improving the general conditions of patients with systemic diseases.
The objective of the presentation is to raise awareness about the importance of oral health in comprehensive health and highlight the need to improve equity, equality and justice in oral health care. By the end of the presentation, attendees will have a clear understanding of how prevention and oral care can improve patients' overall health and quality of life.
