Over the last two months, the Red Inventiva program has been helping me shape my business idea. My experience was very enriching as I arrived at the beginning of this with the platform in the MVP stage, which I feel was at the right time to make the necessary pivots and changes to make my platform a much more solid product. The modules I took made me act in a concrete and systematic way. This process forced me to question and reflect on the platform to find solutions to problems we already had, as well as find and detect problems we were not seeing.

After the consultations with Mr. Rodrigo, and the Excel tool he provided me, I had total clarity on where I am financially, and that gives me perfect clarity on what sales objectives to set for each month. I think that is what I have learned the most, that having clear numbers immediately gives me the clarity on what I need to do in the business to achieve the amount of sales I know I have to achieve according to my business numbers.

Furthermore, we looked at other issues regarding bank loans, which helped me to make intelligent decisions regarding credit cards. And I also learned how to approach investors to ask for loans for my business, and increase the chances of being supported by investors.

I want to give a brief testimony of my experience in the 8-week My Business program.

This program helped me understand in a more real way how my business works professionally and financially.

In each of the modules, I was able to experience and learn things that when you are starting a business or looking to elevate a business idea, we don't think about, for example: Knowing who is really your target audience, how much your business operation costs, what are the fixed and variable expenses.

Without a doubt, this program brought me personal and professional challenges that help me to have a clearer vision of where I want to go with my project.

I had the unconditional support of the mentors and was explained and encouraged to complete each of the modules and the final result was a broad knowledge of what I need to start my business.
